Greeting and Invitation for the New Year

The year 2007 is over! Unbelievable... But the new year is coming.

What kind of year will this be? Why don't we start this year right, by

committing ourselves to the most important task of our lives - getting to

know our Lord Jesus Christ closer, and to spend time with Him daily?

This year's first vesper is going to be at my apartment on the 5th of January.

We'll continue to study from the Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing.

On the fellowship side, we'll be making Pizzas! I'd like you to bring your

favorite pizza sauce & toppings and some cheese! Drinks and Salads will be

welcomed as well. If you don't know how to get to my place, please call me.

Hope to see you all!

This year's first quarter's Sabbath school lessons are in the theme of

Discipleship. What a fitting theme for a group like us. If you don't have

the quarterly book, please contact me ASAP. I have some copies, or I can

order one for you. But please hurry!

Some of us who went to GYC 2007 would love to share with you our experience.

Come and find out!

God bless you all as we cross over into the unknown of the year 2008.

"I stood at the door of the New Year and I said, 'Give me a light that I

might see my way safely into the unknown.' But a voice came to me and said,

'Instead, step into the darkness and take the hand of God - for it will be

to you better than light and safer than a known way."

(From the book, High Calling)
